I tried to install the v4.132 upgrade but the installation crashes/exits at the blue splash screen after I click on "Next".

My current version is : 4.119
The newest version is :4.132

[Crash on install]

Dear GMB,
It is unclear what the problem is.

Are there any error messages.

Are you installing on a normal Vista/XP machine not virtual?
Are you running any 'debuggers' on your computer?

Obviously 4132 installs normally on lots of machines.

to the group..... does anyone else have this problem?

Yes, I have debuggers installed, but not currently using them; I frequently work with VB.NET, python, Java, ASP.NET, php/mysql. What's the work-a-round?

Unfortunately there is no work around as we are unable to find what the problem is.

Have you tried turning off the virus killers, spam killers etc?
Make sure you disconnect from internet while doing that AND turn them back on immediately after you finish trying the install.

IF that helps please let us know, so that we can try it ourselves with the requisite software.

Either way we are making some small changes to 4134's security settings and release along with some other small changes... but quite frankly it is a blind change.
